Since organizing and leading the investment group that helped bring the Hounds to Charlotte in 2011, Jim has served as the team’s Managing Partner and President. In his role, Jim oversees all aspects of the Hounds’ business operations. Additionally, Jim started the Charlotte Hounds Foundation as a way to give back to the community and help grow the sport of lacrosse in the Carolinas.
Jim has over 20 years of sports and entertainment marketing experience. Prior to founding the Hounds, Jim spent three years with the Charlotte Bobcats, where he served as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing and was responsible for the team’s marketing and ticket sales. He also has worked with Dale Earnhardt Inc, the Tampa Bay Rays, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Vikings and Houston Rockets. In addition, Jim was a partner in BRANDTHINK, one of the leading sports consulting agencies in the country, and served as a senior marketing executive with numerous major agencies, including DraftWorldwide and Digitas.
Outside of the office, Jim is an avid tennis player and enjoys cold beer.

Leaphart officially joined the Hounds as Director of Sales & Marketing on March 1, 2011. He was instrumental in the team's formation, establishing business operations, managing outreach programs, player personnel, merchandise, fan engagement, social media, branding, marketing and sales with a focus on securing new team sponsors and season tickets. He was promoted to his current role on June 14, 2012.
Before delving into Major League Lacrosse, Wade held various sales and marketing positions, including two seasons with the ECHL’s Fresno Falcons, a four-year run with Bobcats Sports & Entertainment and a stint with Revolution Racing, where he was responsible for revamping the NASCAR Drive for Diversity program.
Outside of the office, Wade spends his time watching “Peppa Pig,” attending tea parties and playing with legos.

Kristy has been with the Hounds since their inception in January 2012. As Community Relations Manager, she is focused on group sales and the growth of lacrosse in the Carolinas. Specifically, Kristy is responsible for grassroots outreach programs and building relationships with area youth programs. She also manages the Hounds’ retail and merchandise operations.
Prior to joining the Hounds, Kristy spent five years as an operational healthcare consultant for Premier Inc.
In addition to her duties with the Hounds, Kristy serves as co-Director of the Queen City Stars girls lacrosse club and Head Coach of Charlotte Country Day’s varsity girls lacrosse team. When she is not on the lacrosse field, Kristy enjoys hiking and running.

Corbin originally joined the Hounds as a Ticket Sales Intern in February 2012, but was brought on full time in October of that same year. He manages all aspects of our Ticketmaster Archtics system, oversees all box office operations, creates various ticket reports for league tracking, records team expenses, tracks budgets, assists in team travel arrangements, coordinates game day field set-up and reconciles bank deposits. Corbin also handles several other office-related administrative tasks as needed.
Before moving to Charlotte, Corbin coached Varsity lacrosse goalies at his former high school, Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, OH. He even joined the Hounds’ Practice Squad as a back-up goalie halfway through the team's inaugural season. During his time at OU, Corbin served as President of the campus' American Marketing Association chapter, as well as Vice President and Captain of the Ohio Men's Club Lacrosse Program. He also volunteered as a Marketing & Promotions assistant with the OU Athletic Department.
When not in the office or on the lacrosse field, Corbin enjoys spending time outside with his dogs, playing golf, going to concerts, traveling, cooking and sampling craft beers.

Jillian joined the Hounds on a part-time basis in April 2012, but was brought on full-time in September 2014. She handles a variety of responsibilities including publications, press releases, media relations, website content, social media, press credentials and other requests as needed.
Prior to accepting her position with the Hounds, Jillian spent three years at SportsBusiness Daily, including two as a Staff Writer. Before moving to Charlotte, Jillian was an intern in the Major League Lacrosse office during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, serving as a reporter/correspondent for game recaps, feature assignments and special events. She also interned at Boston's WEEI.com, creating content for the site's various team blogs. Jillian got her start in sports as a YMCA gymnastics coach, and later was promoted to Gymnastics Program Director.
Outside of the office, Jillian enjoys playing intramural sports (flag football, kickball and softball), exploring Charlotte’s craft beer offerings and cheering on the Buffalo Bills & Buffalo Sabres.

Dave joined the Hounds’ front office in February 2013 and is responsible for all aspects of ticket sales. He generates new business via phone and in-person appointments, as well as maintains and develops season-ticket services. Dave handles new sales, renewals, up-sells, group sales and customer service. He is involved in many of the Hounds’ community events, promoting the brand whenever he can.
While pursuing a degree in Sport Management, Dave interned with the Washington Redskins in their premium sales and marketing department. He was then hired by the Charlotte Bobcats as part of the Inside Sales staff, where he was part of the 2012 sales team to generate over $1M in revenue.
When not in the office, Dave enjoys spending time outdoors and going on hikes with his fiancee and dog. He remains active in lacrosse as both a coach and player. Dave also enjoys grilling, cooking, playing ping-pong, playing corn hole and being American!

One thing on your bucket list: I’d like to attend a World Cub Final at some point. That’s one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, championship in the world. So few people get the opportunity to experience something like that in their life.
Best book you’ve read this year: I’m currently in the middle of both Questlove’s autobiography, “Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove,” and Roman Abromovich’s biography, “Abramovich: The Billionaire from Nowhere.” I’ll have to let you know my choice when I’m finished, as they have completely different tones.
Patrick joined the team in February 2015, and is responsible for ensuring that all of the fans have the best experience possible. He wants to make sure everyone is not just satisfied but ecstatic about our games. Patrick is here to help bring fans out and keep them coming back with new friends, family members, and co-workers. He always wants to ensure that our fans are getting an experience tailor made to them and will not attempt to push someone to packages that don’t fit their wants or needs.
Born in Greensboro, NC, Patrick has since lived in New Orleans, LA, Chattanooga, TN, Columbia, SC, and Blaine, MN. While he has moved around quite a bit, Patrick has always had a connection to the Carolinas. His mom grew up in Charlotte and his grandparents lived in Rock Hill. The opportunity to move to Charlotte and help build two great teams was an exciting opportunity that Patrick jumped to get on board with. Prior to joining the the Hounds, Patrick worked with Major League Soccer’s National Sales Center, which helped prepare him for a role in a growing sport. That experience allowed him to see the unique ways that each team handles their organization and their fans. Patrick is excited to bring that knowledge to Charlotte as we continue to grow lacrosse in the Queen City.
When not in the office, Patrick enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, watching any soccer that happens to be on TV, playing soccer, exploring Charlotte (he’s still new here) and sitting in his giant foof chair (which is basically a couch sized bean bag chair with foam instead of beans).

Brittany joined the team in January 2015 to assist in coordinating community outreach initiatives and on-site event activations. She also helps manage merchandise and our internship program.
While attending Queens University, Brittany played lacrosse and decided Charlotte was not a place she was quite ready to leave after graduating. In addition to her duties with the Hounds, Brittany is currently the Director of the South Park Youth Association Girls Lacrosse Program, assistant coach of the Marvin Ridge Mavericks Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team and a Queen City Stars Lacrosse Coach. She spent the past summer/fall traveling the country as part of a College Football mobile tour for Advantage International, a brand experience and consulting company. She previously worked for an eCommerce company, serving as the director of consumer relations and marketing, while also assisting in buying.
Outside of work, Brittany LOVES traveling to new places more than anything. She also enjoys running and getting sucked into a great book — as long as a new season of “House of Cards” was not recently released, then you will find her binge watching Netflix.

Blue made his debut at the first ever Hounds game on April 28, 2012. The fun loving canine was named by the fans via a name the team campaign on the Hounds facebook page and website. Blue has all the qualities of a Plott Hound...athletic, muscular, agile, indifferent to other dogs and loves the attention of humans. You can see Blue at all home games and out in the community. In his free time, he enjoys fetching lacrosse balls, marking his territory and hunting boar. Blue resides at Hounds HQ in Uptown Charlotte.
