2012 MLL COLLEGIATE DRAFT PICKS
9. Justin Turri, M, Duke
During his first three seasons playing midfield with the Blue Devils, Turri has played in 54 games with 51 goals and 39 assists.
20. Mark Manos, G, Drexel
"Manos is big and explosive between the pipes. The class of 2012 isn't socked with an abundance of great goalies so Manos may get picked in the first three rounds. One thing we've learned in 11 years of watching MLL, is that great goalies come from all sorts of schools. Manos will benefit from being an understudy in his rookie year, getting acclimated to the shot clock and increased tempo in the MLL." - Quint Kessenich
29. Chris Bocklet, A, Virginia
"Both the Dukie and the Dragon are gamers, but the Hounds’ best pick was a champion. Chris Bocklet’s ability to break goal-line extended and score will mesh well with hard-charging dodger Billy Bitter." - Kyle Devitte, Inside Lacrosse
41. Dan DiMaria, D, Harvard
Led Harvard with 56 ground balls and tied for the team lead with 13 caused turnovers.
49. Kevin Randall, D, Notre Dame
Last season, Randall was a starter in all 14 games and he helped the Fighting Irish defense rank second nationally by allowing just 6.57 goals per game.
57. Joe Vitale, M, Adelphi
First Division II player selected in Draft. First-Team All-American selection in 2011 as a midfielder, and a First-Team All-NE-10 selection as well. He led the Panthers in points (70), assists (30), and is second in goals (40). He was also 12th in the nation with 1.58 assists per game and ninth with 3.68 points per game. Over the course of his career, Vitale has tallied 79 goals and 54 assists for 133 career points.
