Charlotte Hounds Partner with Isabella Santos Foundation
for 1st Annual ZERO K Run
Charlotte, N.C. (May 22, 2014) - The Charlotte Hounds, in partnership with The Woody & Wilcox show from 106.5 The End, NoDa Brewing Company and UBER, announced details today on the 1st Annual Charlotte Hounds ZERO K Run to benefit the Isabella Santos Foundation.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14 at American Legion Memorial Stadium. Official Hashtag: #ZeroK
The Pre-Race Registration Celebration begins at 4:30pm.
The less-than-strenuous 0.0K race will start (and end) at 5:30pm, led by Blue the Plott Hound and Woody & Wilcox from 106.5 The End. Everyone Wins!
Post-race, the participants will recover with live music, food and drink courtesy of NoDa Brewing Company, UBER and 106.5 The End, followed by a Major League Lacrosse game at 7:00pm.
Registration Fee: $20, before May 30. $25, after May 30.
Includes t-shirt, two drink vouchers from NoDa Brewing Company, food, $20 Uber vouchers for first-time users, live music and a lower-level reserved seat to the Charlotte Hounds vs Florida Launch game at 7:00pm. Net proceeds go to the Isabella Santos Foundation.

About Charlotte Hounds
In January 2011, Major League Lacrosse announced a league expansion for the 2012 season that included Columbus, OH and Charlotte, NC. The team began play in April 2012 at historic American Legion Memorial Stadium. In their first season, the Hounds averaged 5,700 in attendance and finished with a 5-9 record. Based on first year success, the Hounds were awarded the 2013 MLL All-Star Game. In 2013, the Hounds finished 7-7 in the regular season, claiming the fourth and final MLL playoff spot. In the semifinals, the Hounds knocked off the previously undefeated Denver Outlaws 17-14 to advance to the Championship game, losing to the defending Champion Chesapeake Bayhawks 10-9.

The Isabella Santos Foundation is a 503(c)3 charity that raises money and awareness for Neuroblastoma Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Ronald McDonald House, the Make-a-Wish Foundation as well as other local children's charities.
