Major League Lacrosse announces regional TV schedule

BOSTON, Mass. (Thursday, April 24)– Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier outdoor lacrosse league, announced today the regional television schedule for the 2013 season. A total of 19 games will be broadcast regionally throughout the country on several networks including Altitude Sports, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Comcast Sportsnet New England, Cox Sports Television, MSG+, SportsTime Ohio, and Time Warner Cable SportsChannels.

“We are thrilled to have so many networks carry MLL games,” said Major League Lacrosse Commissioner David Gross. “These regional broadcasts complete our television schedule and ensure that every game of the 2013 season is available to our fans.”

Highlights of the regional schedule include the first two games of the season on April 27. The Charlotte Hounds vs. Denver Outlaws match will air on Altitude 2, Time Warner Cable SportsChannels (Kansas City Metro Sports, Ohio and Wisconsin), MSG+, and My TV 12 Charlotte; while the Rochester Rattlers vs. Chesapeake Bayhawks match will air on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, MSG+ and Time Warner Cable SportsChannels (Kansas City Metro Sports and New York).

Play-by-play duties will be handled by a variety of commentators including Eamon McAnaney, Todd Bell, Mike Evans, Jon Meterparel and Steve Warzala. Andrew ‘Buggs’ Combs, Brendan McDaniel, Ron Zwerin, Brett Manney and Brian Shanahan will serve as analysts.
